After attending Marcus Oldham Farm Agricultural College, Robert Burbury spent the first fifteen years of his career as the principal of a large mixed farming enterprise in Tasmania’s northern midlands. Since moving to Victoria in 1991, he has been involved in consulting to large agribusinesses, managing property developments, and has spent ten years in senior executive corporate agribusiness roles at Austrade, Pivot Ltd., O2e and Warakirri Dairies.
In addition to providing management consulting services to The Healthy Grain, Robert maintains a number of Non-Executive Director board positions.
Sharon Lawton
Technical Consultant | Sharon Lawton Nutrition
Sharon is a Registered Nutritionist (registered with the Nutrition Society of Australia), Food Scientist and Strategy Specialist. With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Nutrition and a Graduate Certificate in Human Nutrition under her belt, Sharon is equipped with a robust academic background within the health and wellbeing sphere. She has also completed a Professional Certificate in Strategy Specialisation from Harvard University.
Sharon’s career, spanning over two decades, has seen her contribute significantly to various sectors of the food industry, including the dairy industry and esteemed companies like Simplot Australia, Byron Bay Tea Company, Living Pure – and now, The Healthy Grain.
Beyond her corporate endeavours, Sharon is committed to promoting health and well-being in the community. She conducts nutrition and wellness programs for schools and corporations, aiming to optimize the health of Australians across all demographics.
Dr Paul Sims

Paul has wide experience in the biomedical and food businesses having worked for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, and for CSIRO. He spent several years managing CSIRO’s technology commercialisation in Japan.

Jennie is a Certified HR Practitioner (CAHRI) and holds a Professional Diploma of Human Resources, from the Australian HR Institute (AHRI).
Jennie has over 20 years’ commercial experience across a variety of industries including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, events, media, legal, hospitality and retail. Jennie’s focus is on strategic HR and developing lasting improvements in The Healthy Grain’s performance, profitability and growth through their most important asset – their people.
